EVAN!!!!!!! Shit, it’s been so long since I’ve talked to him. I miss the old days. :(
Anyway, as I said before, happy birthday, Hattie! I hope it’s the best day ever.

He is so young in this gif, it is making me feel 14 again. BRB printing screencaps of Titanic off of the school computer before choir practice.
When I was little, my sister and I went to the Sam’s Club in Davenport to “help” my parents buy things for their restaurant. Needless to say, most of the shopping the two of us did consisted of stuff we wanted to snack on at home later. And by at home later, I mean in the car on the way back to Clinton.
Yes, my (approximately) 8-year-old self and my (approximately) 13-year-old sister ate an entire 48 value size box of Fruit Roll-ups in a 45 minute drive home. And to think, we were twigs back then. Glory days, ya’ll.

I am nostalgia-ing so hard right now it hurts.

I found this shirt while rummaging through clothing to donate, and I immediately became nostalgic. I used to be a huge Chicago Bulls fan—huge as in I watched game after game with my parents, bought tons of books from Scholastic and Waldenbooks about the team, hung framed posters of the players in my bedroom and incessantly begged my parents to take us to the Michael Jordan restaurant in Chicago when it opened in 1993. Much like the line at Jordan’s place, my obsession was ridiculous.
Long story short, I remember being 7 years old and my father giving me this shirt, which I thought was the greatest thing in the world. Not going to lie, I kind of still do.
Back when I loved basketball, these men were gods.
Never forget.
