I don’t know how they are going to get the majority of the actors back or how they’re going to teach old ladies to work the internet, but I’m glad they have a shot! This is wonderful news for the soap opera community and all of the cast and crew who work on the shows.

This would be amazing. IF SO, PLEASE BRING BACK JENNIFER COOLIDGE. 

And it’s Lenny Kravitz. I was really torn on who should play Cinna and was somewhat leaning toward Hugh Dancy. I was really afraid that Lenny would be too flashy and not at all understated like the character is supposed to be. But after reading this quote from director Gary Ross

“When I saw Lenny’s work in PRECIOUS I was just knocked out. It was quiet and strong and understated and open hearted; all qualities which define this character. I’m really looking forward to this ride.”

I started to feel a little bit better. Then I watched a few clips of him in interviews and Precious, and I think I’m fairly happy with the decision. Cinna is my second favorite character, so they better not fuck him up LIKE THEY DID PEETA!!!!!

Update: NBC has picked up the Michael Emerson / Terry O’Quinn show!

In less than an hour, J.J.’s Undercovers premieres on NBC. (And don’t forget that Henry Ian Cusick will be on L&O: SVU after that!) Within the last hour, news broke that they’ve picked up the show and given it a pilot commitment.

We’re one big step closer to this happening!

Now I’m  even more excited to see it. They just need to get rid of Hayden Pantyairs… actually, all of the new people besides him should just GTFO.

Seriously sucks, but honestly, I couldn’t see the show really surviving without Adam Scott anyway. (via tinypeanutbutters)
