On February 3 (Iowa time), it will be 50 years since that horrible night. It’s both sad and intriguing to imagine what music would have been made if Buddy Holly, the Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens wouldn’t have died in that plane crash. They were such talented and influential musicians at their young ages, I can only imagine the hits which would have followed had they not passed.
